Teenage Head

Flashback to 1974.  Disco was the all the rave in New York City and folk music was dying.  Deep in the steely bowels of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, 4 teenage boys were trying to imitate the sounds of the New York Dolls, Iggy Pop, and Eddie Cochran.  In that cold cememt basement, they discovered their own sound and never looked back.  The opening chords of 'Lets Shake', 'Picture My Face', and 'Disgusteen' bring back the glory days of many, from college years in beer soaked bars to new lovers marrying off and the next generation of blue collar driving to their first job.

Often imitated but never recreated, TEENAGE HEAD created something that couldn't have come from Toronto or Montreal.  Hamilton's landscape of concrete and steel inspired something special, fusing punk rock rage with jangly guitar and an unparalleled pop sensibility.  With 12 studio albums, including 3 gold and 2 platinum certifications, TEENAGE HEAD stands the test of time and remains one of Canada's most influential and beloved bands.

The lineup now includes founding member Stephen Marshall on bass, alongside early TEENAGE HEAD vocalist and producer extraordinaire Dave 'Rave' DesRoches reprising his role as front man.  The legendary Gene Champagne of The Killjoys is holding down the drums, and Trent Carr can be graciously standing in on guitar when The Headstones aren't rocking your city!

Now, TEENAGE HEAD is still standing strong in 2026.  After more than 50 years of bittersweet moments and tragic losses, TEENAGE HEAD has defied the odds and endures to bring their unmistakable sound to die hard fans around the world!
