Sons Of Arrakis (SOA) is a Montreal-based band formed in 2019, and deeply inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune saga.  Their unique sound - a fusion of heavy riffs and sci-fi atmosphere - has been described as Melange Rock and Cinematic Sci-Fi Rock, capitivating audiences and critics alike.

SOA's debut album, Volume I (2022), quickly reached #1 on the Doom Chart (June 2022) and secured the #8 spot on the year-end recap.  Their highly anticipated sophomore release, Volume II (2024), climbed to #3 on the Doom Chart and entered the Top 10 for album of the year, further solidifing their place in the heavy rock scene.

SOA has toured extensively across Quebec, Canada, Mexico, the United States, and Europe.  In January 2025, the band embarked on their first USA tour with The Great Scattering - Part II, debuting SOA in California and Nevada, and performing at the Planet Desert Rock Weekend.

In July 2025, the band performed at Stoom Fest (London, UK), before returning to Europe that fall for a continential tour including performances at Into The Void Fest and Up In Smoke Festival, marking major milestones in SOA's international expansion.

In 2025 and beyond, Sons Of Arrakis continue their global journey with Shai-Hulud Odyssey, bringing their cinematic, sci-fi-infused heavy rock to new frontiers.
