Laura Denisse Y Los Brillantes

A new Latin-Americana act with Mexican roots, took Facebook by storm earlier this month when its bold cover of Rumel Fuentes’ “Mexico Americano” earned 3.9 million (and rising) views on Facebook. Frontwoman Laura Denisse shares, “We had so much fun performing ‘Mexico Americano,’ then seeing it take off on Facebook we knew we wanted to record it. So we added it to our set list and recorded a live version!”

Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, Laura Denisse Y Los Brillantes is composed of Laura, Luis Leija (accordion), Roberto Lozoya (drums), Josué Padilla (bass), Oscar Osollo (keyboard) and Fernando Castilleja (guitar/bajo). The group is touring in support of its 11-track album Fortune, recorded in Nashville with Mexican-American producer and multi-instrumentalist Misa Arriaga (Kacey Musgraves).
