Produced over a 15 year period, the Amigos project has slowly been curating out of the brothers’ VMG and 512 Studios whenever certain artists were either recording their albums there or were in town to collaborate on something together.

The album has already spawned a local hit in the song “El Campo” which features Grammy award-winning accordion player Flaco Jimenez. Released five years ago from one of the first collaboration bootlegs, the small town of El Campo, Texas plays the song everyday on various local radio stations where the Vallejo brothers were raised.

Amigos will also feature a previously unreleased collaboration from Vallejo’s late musical comrade and close friend MC Overlord, who passed away last year. Stay tuned to for Amigos’ release date and video premiere for the album’s upcoming first single “Widow’s Kiss (The Ghost Of Lobo)” featuring Austin flamenco shredders Del Castillo.
