Since his debut album Philworld in 1996, Phil Pritchett has been on a journey.
Through 15 albums and thousands of shows, P2 (as his “Phans” know him) has lived a life in music and built an indie music empire on his livewire performances and catalog of original music. Songs like “God Save the King,” “Luke Skywalker and Indiana Jones,” “Tougher Than the Rest,” “Maria,” “Colorado On Trial,” “Feeling Port Aransas,” “Drink When I Think,” and “Bruising Sheetrock” are now part of the new pantheon of Texas/Red Dirt classics heard blasting out of bars and trucks, and being covered by singer songwriters on albums and at open mics. His high energy performances include drumstick guitar solos, audience participation, simulated guitar/machine gun interludes and an ability to cover any tune from Willie to Talking Heads. It is this combination of showmanship and originality that has endeared Phil Pritchett and the Full Band to so many and made P2 an in demand entertainer for private events and festivals all over the country.
